Letter, 1864 June 12.

Letter written by Charles I. Clark, near Richmond, Virginia, to Robert H. Miller, Champlain, Minnesota, describing his military activities. Clark, originally from New Hampshire, mustered into the First Minnesota Infantry Regiment, Company C on June 22, 1861, was injured at the Battle of Bull Run, later transferred to the First Minnesota Infantry Battalion, Company A, and was killed near Petersburg, Virginia on June 18, 1864. Includes an undated handwritten note by O. S. Miller detailing Clark's service.
